September 7, 2020 - The Rockliner and Metal Cruises already existed. Now the "Jeckliner" is put on. On April 07th, 2022 Mein Schiff 6 will start a four-day “fifth season cruise” from Palma de Mallorca. TUI Cruises promise a superlative costume party. On board: ten well-known carnival artists such as the "Höhner", the Bläck Fööss "or the" Klüngelköpp ".
The best news for all jerks and fools: With the Jeckliner 2, TUI Cruises is extending the jerk time for all fans who haven't had enough by a long way. After the first successful Jeckliner in 2022, the foolish hustle and bustle goes into the next round from April 2019th to 07th, 11. The Mein Schiff 2022 starts as a floating jock stronghold in Palma de Mallorca via the French Sète to Ibiza and back to Palma de Mallorca. Safe and relaxed only for fully vaccinated guests.
"After the pandemic-related postponements, we are all the more looking forward to the Jeckliner next spring," says Ellen Angersbach, Senior Head of Program, Administration & Events. The new edition of the Jeckliner was originally planned for April 2020 - the extensive fools program with top-class carnival artists was already set. The good news now: "My ship and the artists are sticking together .. All the acts are on board again and we can all hardly wait for it to start", Angersbach gives a view of the Jeckliner 2.

“Höhner”, “Paveier”, “Klüngelköpp” and many more. Comedian and presenter Guido Cantz will lead the fools through the program. Jeckliner sessions, sing-along concerts, meet & greets, guard dance courses and workshops provide further highlights on board.
The framework conditions are right. As usual, guests are offered culinary delights in 13 restaurants and bistros. Drinks outside of meal times are included in almost all bars and lounges. The drinks menu includes beer, soft drinks, coffee, tea, non-alcoholic cocktails and various wines. A large selection of spirits, cocktails and long drinks is also included in the tour price.

What defines the band is the fun and love for their music and the closeness and interaction with the audience. All of the Cölln's songs have been created in-house since 2008 - musically they are completely unique with a mixture of traditional carnival influences, the reference to German hits and their musical past in rock and pop bands.
DJ Andy & DJ Jürgen
DJ Jürgen and DJ Andy from 1st Class Entertainment will also provide the jerky, cool sound on the Jeckliner in 2020. Both have been playing at events of all kinds for over 30 years. Whether at the WDR house party, cool events in travel tourism or the Cologne Carnival: With them, atmosphere is guaranteed. They provide the fun tones at “Jeck Friday”, “Wahnsinnisch Jeck”, and in the Gaffel am Dom, among others.
Colorful suits, glittering clothes and a tubular drum: That's the Brass Band Compressed Air! With over 250 appearances a year, compressed air is the whiz kid in the brass scene. A unique show and medleys, in which Maya the bee meets Kasalla, Mozart meets Brings and Britney Spears meets Seeed, make every performance an experience that nobody will soon forget. Whether at parties, festivals, on land or at sea, compressed air makes every audience dance and sing along.
Fauth Dance Company
The Fauth Dance Company was founded in 1963 by Inge Fauth. That’s 56 years of successful dance and show history. For 12 years the company with its unique and energetic shows has been an integral part of the Cologne Carnival. Every year a new motto show is rehearsed, which convinces year after year with its variety of dance, a stunning charisma and great costumes. They can also be seen outside of the 5th season. As a concert accompaniment, in shows at events and for years in many dance TV productions such as Let's Dance or Supertalent.
As a carnival speaker, comedian, entertainer, TV presenter and book author, Guido Cantz has been one of Germany's most popular and successful show greats for years. Whether with his solo programs, his books or numerous TV guest appearances: wherever Guido Cantz appears, the audience is guaranteed to get their money's worth.
The Höhner from Cologne are known as passionate and life-loving musicians and entertainers. “Viva Colonia” and “If not now, then when?” Are among her greatest hits. Handmade music, pop anthems in stadium format, honest texts that often arise from everyday experiences, and the wonderful Cologne humor make the Höhner one of the most exciting bands in our country in 2019.
Our Jecklin Guard trainer Jenny Peggen is also on board this time. After 30 years as a dance marie on the first Jeckliner, Jenny said goodbye to the active stage. But she will stay with us as a trainer. She will perform to Cologne hits and choreograph the Jeckliner hymn "Jeckliner - Dat calls mer Jlöck", a new dance that the guests can learn and which is presented on the big stage. Of course, everyone can take part again, whether man, woman, young or old, with or without dance experience.
For years the Klüngelköpp have belonged to the top group of Cologne bands. Her hits, such as "Staee", "Jedäuf Met 4711", "Bella Ciao" and "1000 Nights" run up and down in all pubs, halls and discos. Victories at Top Jeck, as well as winning the Fool's Oscar twice (Audience Award of the Kölner Express) show organizers and audience the popularity of the group. On top of that they sing the official Jeckliner hymn "Dat nam mer Jlöck", which should not be missing on any tour.
Linus: singer and cult presenter from Cologne. Parody, Rhenish carnival classics, mood, ballads, current charts. Newly packaged, crisp, distinctive and spontaneous. Linus as you know him.
Born out of a school band, Lupo has been writing her own songs since 2011. The band keeps the Cologne language - after all, the five boys are real sons of the city. The band played their hit “För die Liebe nit” in numerous halls and won several prizes during the 2018 carnival session. Since then, at the latest, they have been among the best-known and most successful newcomer bands from Cologne. They draw inspiration from a wide variety of genres from jazz to classical and rock 'n' roll.
Since it was founded in 1983, the pavers have become an integral part of the Cologne music scene. With hits like “Leev Marie” or classics like “It's Beautiful Life”, the Paveier appear live on stage around 350 times a year. With their concerts and great songs, the six musicians have played their way into the front row of Cologne's bands and into the hearts of the fans. Everyone likes to find themselves in their texts. Not least because of their musical diversity, the Paveier are among the best-known Cologne bands.
When Philipp Godart takes the stage, he conjures up Cologne cheerfulness at every event. With immortal hits from Bläck Fööss, Brings, Höhner and many other Cologne bands, he brings "kölsche Tön '" for every occasion. The mixture of Cologne hits, party classics and pop hits makes everyone sing along and bob along. Regardless of whether it is a Cologne “warm-up” before the party, as a musical accompaniment to a Kölsch party or meeting, or as a soloist after the meeting. The party can go on like this for a long time.
The Swinging Funfares stand for non-stop parties with groovy brass and rousing vocals. Over 200 appearances a year speak for the quality of the band, which has made guest appearances on all continents from Australia to America and was also part of the first Jeckliner.
Willi & Ernst
WILLI & ERNST have been cultivating the tradition of dialogue in Fastelovend since 2011. Since then, the genuine Rhinelander have been delighting their audience with Rhenish humor at meetings in Cologne, Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. They have already been seen in various television formats such as the ARD Rose Monday session and the ZDF girls' session. With improvisation, charm and their exquisite taste for knitwear, they conquer the hearts of young and old and not only in the carnival session.
