July 29, 2021 - Good news comes from the Port of Hamburg. Cruise activity is picking up speed again in Hamburg. AIDA Cruises has the AIDAmar set off on 7-day cruises thirteen times. The trips take place between July 31, 2021 and October 24, 2021.
Cruise Gate Hamburg GmbH, operator of the three Hamburg cruise terminals, announced that terminal operations started smoothly as early as mid-June 2021 with the first attempt of the season after the inevitable Corona break. The terminal operator has adapted its handling concepts to the current requirements. Employees, passengers and crew members are forced to adhere to strict hygiene and safety rules. The reward for being careful is restarting cruise operations.
AIDAmar in Hamburg Steinwerder
AIDAmar will start its 31-day voyages for the first time on July 7 with different routes. Destinations in Sweden (Gothenburg and Visby), destinations in Norway (Bergen, Geiranger, Ålesund, Stavanger and Kristiansand) or destinations in Sweden and Poland (Gothenburg and Gdynia).
The trips to Norway are packed with destinations. Due to Norway's current entry regulations, adult passengers need a full COVID-19 vaccination. A test is compulsory for children and young people between the ages of four and 18. - The trips to the Baltic Sea are mainly characterized by days at sea. The Swedish cities of Gothenburg and Visby on the island of Gotland are visited as part of organized shore excursions.
After the Nordland turns, AIDAmar sets course Gran Canaria. The journey begins on October 24th in Hamburg.
